Deck the Halls or… deck out your van like LADIES did

By: Edy Guy

We’re in the thick of the holiday season and we know this year’s a bit funky compared to others. That’s why we’re super excited to introduce you to LADIES, three gals bringing holiday cheer to the Seattle area in their 2003 Volkswagen EuroVan decked out with our lights!

LADIES is a trio of three vocalists — Lydia Ramsey, Erin Austin, and Miranda Zickler. In 2018 they released their remix to “Ladies, It’s Cold Outside,” a subtle jab at the holiday classic. This landed them a feature on Seattle’s NPR station KNKX and a place on Apple’s Holiday Playlist. Their song was streamed 500k times in the first month!

This season they added their own personal touch to “Blue Christmas” as a homage to the extremely peculiar times we’re in. The song is produced by Andy Park, who’s worked with big name bands like Death Cab for Cutie and Mac Miller.

We can think of no better way to trickle in some real holiday cheer than socially distant carols brought to you. If you’re in the Seattle area, keep an eye out for the LADIES “Carol-vanning.” They’ll be stopping outside of homes to sing a few holiday jingles. Reserve a serenade for yourself or as a gift for a loved one at

Here’s a little sneak peak of what you can expect!

10% of proceeds from The Carol Van tour will go toward @KeepMusicLiveWA, an organization that’s working to save independent music venues. You can make a donation on Venmo or Paypal to @listentoladies.

Happy holidays, everyone. We hope it’s filled with lots of love and perfect lighting. 😉
